WHOIS lookup

Created, updated and expiry dates, plus public registrar data from RDAP (with a WHOIS fallback when a TLD has no RDAP server).

What this lookup shows

Created is the registry’s registration date — the closest public equivalent of a “buy date.” Updated is the last change the registry recorded (nameservers, registrar transfer, and similar). Expires is when the current registration period ends unless it is renewed. Some ccTLDs hide expiry; you will see a dash rather than a guess.

Registrar fields come from the registry’s RDAP record: name, IANA ID, website, abuse email, and the WHOIS server. Registrant name and address are often redacted under privacy laws. DNSFetch only displays what the registry already publishes.

Enter a hostname such as www.example.com and we walk up to the registered domain automatically. Results are cached for an hour.
